I taught in grade 8 of junior grade school. So far, the English
materials that I observed are about literature, affixes and root words,
connectors of time and sequence, prediction, point of views, etc. In this grade
of school, they use their learning sources from Phoenix Incorporation.The
title of the book is Integrated English for Effective Communication grade 8. Each students has
that book, so the teacher easily arrange the students activities.
In this book provides very brief explanation which help students easier to understand, not only about explanation, but also about activities that students have to do are variables. When I teach in literature subject, I also took other learning sources from African and Asian Literature and Communication Arts book. Although it was so scared me, because I never teach about literature, but because of finding many other learning sources in the UC Lab's library, I solved my problem.
