I enjoyed all the days when I did my observation. I got so many things when I doing my observation with my critic teacher. I learned, how she managed the class very well, until none is sleeping in the class, everybody pay attention to the lesson, not only about the managing class, but also about the activities the teacher delivered to the students.
Every meeting had their own activities, the teacher will give the different activities in the other meetings. I got many methods from my critic teacher. That I always see in the class, everybody has to speak, although in a word, phrase, or in a sentence. The teacher always instruct the students to speak up in the class with various activities.
Every meeting the students should write one vocabularies with the meaning, and one quote of the day. Sometimes the teacher asked the students o read loudly all together, sometimes, the teacher pointed one person to read loudly, also sometimes the students should make a sentence from the vocabulary they wrote. Just the same with Indonesians teaching system, in this school will begin with the opening, by giving some short review of the last meeting lesson topic, then continued by the actions, it just like an explanation about the topic usually by power point presentation, and sometimes the teacher directly instruct the students to have a look in the student's book.
After that, doing the applications, just like the individual activity or the group activities. And closed by questioning the lesson topic of the day, or some other short reviews. This is the important, I told by the critic teacher that the students of Philippines are forbidden to be given them assignments. That's the new rule in the academic of Philippines. But, I think although they don't have assignments to do, the students also the teacher are having good relation in the teaching-learning process in the class.
