The purposes of the practicum is very great, although this is the first batch my university join this program, I will really recommend this program for my sister class, the purposes are clear to sharpen our skill in the teaching, to be a professional and quality teacher, to explore more about language, and exchange culture.
At first I expected nothing because the class, the materials, and sources are given in the school. So, I just feel afraid of bad performance in my teaching practice, but so far the coordinator, principal, and critic teacher are great and prepared the procedures well, like about the schedule, the place where I can get the instrument for teaching and many others.
So far I got many outcomes from my practicum, because I had many observations, not only sit down and see the class, but also I get many things like the new method, techniques, activities, class management, and others. I do love this program, it is really challenge my skill of teaching, my language performance, my discipline, and really once again I do love this program.
I only have a little suggestion for the next batch, that SEAMEO has to do some selection for joining this program, because I also see the students are not responsible with the teaching practice skills.
